About Us
English learning that feels human.
The Native Way is built around practical communication, personal support and the confidence to use English naturally in real life.

PERSONAL. PRACTICAL. HUMAN.

A more personal way to learn English.
I’m a South African educator whose work has taken me through classrooms, teaching teams and international learning environments. Working with students from different cultures, ages and English levels has taught me that the biggest breakthroughs rarely come from memorising one more rule. They happen when a learner feels supported enough to speak, make mistakes, ask questions and keep going.
Throughout my career in English education, I’ve taught, managed and led in multicultural settings, but the part of the work I have always loved most is seeing confidence click into place. It might be the first spontaneous answer, a conversation that suddenly flows, or the moment someone realises they can express what they actually mean without second-guessing every word.
The Native Way grew from those experiences. I wanted to create a more personal kind of English learning — practical, encouraging and built around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all course. The goal is not perfect English. It is helping you communicate with more confidence, fluency and freedom in the situations that matter to your life.
I’m still a learner too. New cultures, new teaching ideas and the people I meet continue to shape how I teach, and that curiosity is a big part of The Native Way.
